Help with your homework and capstone when class isn’t in session.
Optional, and still new. Using it is entirely your choice. Nothing in this course requires it, and choosing not to use it costs you nothing. It guides you toward your own answers; it won’t write your code, your topic names, or your essay.
It will sometimes be wrong. If it contradicts your notebook or the assignment, the notebook wins. When it gets something wrong, or you notice two course materials contradicting each other, press Export Chat and email the file to c.rode@tcu.edu. The exact transcript is what makes a problem fixable, and nothing leaves your browser unless you send it.
Where your words go. Chats are saved in this browser only; the course doesn’t keep what you write, and there’s no login. To answer you, your messages pass through Cloudflare to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude model behind the tutor. To prevent misuse, the course’s server keeps a counter for your network address that disappears about a day after your last message, and it counts which assignments and kinds of errors come up, never what anyone wrote. Please don’t paste personal information, passwords, or classmates’ work, and for your own dataset, paste a few example lines rather than the whole file.
